Severe weather warning — heavy rain, flooding risk across Gauteng, North West, Free State

The South African Weather Service has issued an orange level 5 warning for heavy rainfall and potential flooding in Gauteng, North West and northeastern Free State from 18 February. 

The weather service (Saws) emphasised that heavy downpours may lead to flooding of roads, bridges and low-lying areas, particularly along major rivers. For more information on this please click here
