Woldia University is one of the leading public funded higher education institutions dedicated to quality education, training, cutting-edge research and technology transfer. The university is established under the Ministry of Council’s Regulation Number 220/2011. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across diverse fields, including social sciences, natural and computational sciences, health sciences, agriculture, technology, law, and business and economics. With multiple campuses—Woldia, Mersa, and Lalibela—it serves a large and diverse student population supported by a qualified academic and administrative staff. Accordingly, it has six colleges, two institutes, two schools and two research centres.
